translated from Spanish: Other parties seek to come to power no matter how, we want to make a difference: PES Michoacán

Morelia, Michoacán.- The state leader of the Solidarity Encounter Party, Eder López, stressed that they do not seek, nor do they want to be an opportunistic party that seeks to like everyone, as they seek to combine with those who share their ideals.
“There will be a lot of people who think like us, there will be a lot of people who don’t, we go with people who think like us,” the headline said.
In an interview for Monitor Expresso, he said they are looking to make a difference against political parties that, by their perception, have become a joke, as they are only looking to gain power, no matter how.

This is one of the reasons why parties have been discredited, besides that people do not feel identified with the political class and also, the economic waste that takes place in political campaigns.
In this sense, he stressed that the right flag to enhance the search for people’s sympathy would be for campaigns to be financed 0 percent with public money from taxes.
“It would generate another kind of work and worry about gaining people’s sympathy, the myth that private initiative contributes to candidates’ political campaigns and is therefore money badly available, that already exists below water,” he concluded.
