The Fort, Sinaloa.- Complying with each of the health measures required by the health protocols for museums, this weekend the Museo Fuerte Mirador was reopened after being closed for about 5 months due to the health contingency and the restrictions that the health authorities themselves determined. Mayor Nubia Ramos Carbajal, accompanied by Deputy Monica López who is the President of the Economic Development Commission of the Congress of the State of Sinaloa, as well as municipal officials indicated that everything is ready for this place to receive tourists, “come to the Museum, have the confidence that all health measures are being complied with… welcome to the magical village of El Fuerte, and to tell you that unfortunately we will not have the Grito de Independencia Ceremony for the health of all, but the doors of the municipality are open for you to come and visit us,” externed Nubia Ramos.

On the tour they were guided by the head of the Museo Fuerte Mirador Diana López Vega, who was showing the authorities one by one the halls ranging from the first Yoremes settlers who inhabited El Fuerte, through the Conquest, the colonial era, the Mexican Revolution to the present time. The tour was attended by the President of the Health Commission Carlos Sarmiento, the Health Checker Gustavo Osuna de la Coepriss on behalf of the Coordinator Zona Norte Fátima Ruelas, as well as Dr. Nidia Ramírez Ruíz Director of Health, Román Padilla de Acción Social y Cultura and Ariel Valdez Serratos of the Tourism Directorate; those who pledged to continue working to ensure that this cultural site continues to operate effectively, but above all, with strict adherence to health standards since this provides a safe visit to tourists who come to this emblematic Mirador Museum in El Fuerte.As an important fact, it should be noted that during the first day of reopening more than 100 visitors were received , indicating that the Museo Fuerte Mirador is one of the most visited sites of the magical village. The protocols for visitors are to allow the taking of temperature, the mandatory use of mouth covers, the use of antibacterial gel, maintain the healthy distance, respect the spaces on the routes and respect the entrances and exits of the museum.
