Paulina Peña Pretelini thanked all the messages of congratulations and good wishes, which she received from her followers through social networks: “Guys, that lucky I am to have them in truth. Thank you to everyone who wrote to me, I’m answering one by one; my birthday is October 3rd, but my cousin organized a surprise feast with my family and as I tell you, I feel the most blessed.”

On the other hand, a few months ago Paulina Peña opened her heart as she rarely does on her social media, regarding the death of her mother Monica Pretelini. The wife of Enrique Peña Nieto died on the afternoon of January 11, 2007, as a result of cardiorespiratory arrest after an epileptic crisis. One of his followers wrote him the following comment: “At any age you don’t need a mom, how do you cope?” to which Peña Nieto’s daughter replied:
I feel like I didn’t have another one, that’s what touched me, just as there are people who need their dad, sister or brother, I carry it as it goes.
“Obviously there are days that miss them more than usual, but I always think they’re there and they have some way of teaching that they’re with you, then one day at a time.”
