It is more than three weeks with a steady increase in the number of hospitalized in both the capital and the Valley of Mexico, reported by the head of government Claudia Sheinbaum.

From October 11 to November 6, the Metropolitan Zone of the Valley of Mexico went from 3 thousand 472 people hospitalized to 3 thousand 872, an increase of 400 people.
In the same period, but only in the CDMX, hospitalizations went from 2 thousand 607 to 2 thousand 923, an increase of 316 people, according to Sheinbaum.
The official announced two preventive measures to reduce hospitalizations and contagions, which apply from Monday, November 9, and will last for 15 days.
1. Restaurants, casinos and gyms must close at 22:00 hours for the next 15 days.
2. The number of people in hotel events is limited: only 10 people will be allowed in enclosed spaces, and 25 people in open spaces.
In addition, all events must be recorded and the attendees’ phone sent an SMS message to 51515 with the word event.
They continue without authorization: concerts and massive events, bars, dens and canteens, billiards, public baths (showers, steam, sauna, Turkish bath and spa), sporting events with audiences, social events and congresses.
