translated from Spanish: Brunette to define alliance with PVEM and PT

Morena will hold a dialogue table with the Green Party and the Labour Party on Monday to define whether they will go in coalition at the federal level, Mario Delgado reported at the conference. At the local level, he said, inter-party dialogue continues.

The leader of Morena noted that so far they have only developed alliance at the local level in Nuevo León y Guerrero.
“With the PVEM what we have realized is Guerrero and Nuevo León, exclusively, and we will analyze State by State, it is not a widespread alliance. There will be few cases where we will go in local coalition,” he said.
On Monday, the negotiating table with the PT and green will also be opened to go in coalition in the Chamber of Deputies.
He also indicated that in recent days the National Elections Commission of the party held various political tables with those interested in participating in the process of selecting candidates for the 15 gubernaturas to be renewed in 2021.
He detailed that aspiring candidates for governor will be registered on 4 and 5 December at the national headquarters of Morena.

Delgado assured that people’s will will be respected, so all candidates will be defined by consensus or through the survey method. Applicants must sign a document committing to respect the outcome of the surveys and not resort to the denstement of the process.
“Influence, friendism, or sectarianism will not be allowed. Morena is one of the people and you have to respect the will of the people in the selection of candidates and candidates,” he added.
