translated from Spanish: UNAM launches call to participate in COVID vaccination brigades

The National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) opened a call for its students and academics of the medical, nursing and dentistry careers to participate as volunteers in vaccination brigades against SARS-COV-2.
In a statement, the institution stated that the purpose of this action is to assist in the care of the national health emergency, as well as the possible participation in the National Vaccination Campaign.
The application of the vaccine will be done within the university campus and will be orchestrated by the Faculty of Medicine in collaboration with the Directorate General of Health Care.

Requirements to participate
The document signed by Dr. Germán Fajardo Dolci, director of the Faculty of Medicine, states that in order to ensure quality in the application of vaccines, volunteers will have to receive semi-presential training.
Candidates must meet certain requirements, such as:

Be an academic or student enrolled in any of the courses convened, regardless of campus.
Having completed and approved the first two years of his career.
Not be part of the vulnerable population for health or age reasons. Nor will pregnant women be able to participate.
You must register for the following league: http://www.facmed.unam.mx/registro/brigadacovid19/
They’ll have to complete their training.
Finally, sign an informed consent once the candidate has been accepted as a brigadier.

The inclusion of brigadiers will depend on the order of registration, compliance with the requirements, as well as the needs for vaccination days.
At the conclusion of the work as a brigadier, participants will be given two constances: the first of the training course and the second of their participation in the campaign.
