It will have two groups (“A” and “B”) of six teams each, consisting of three teams that have completed first and three sets that finished seconds from the initial stage. The winner of this phase will qualify for the 2021 Copa Libertadores.
The teams that qualified first and second are: Atlético Tucumán, Colón, River, Boca, San Lorenzo, Huracán, Arsenal, Independiente, Banfield, Talleres y Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata. The last place will be occupied by Argentinos Juniors or Aldosivi.
Complementation Phase
It will have two groups (“A” and “B”) of six teams each, consisting of three teams that have completed third and three sets that completed quarters of the initial stage. Whoever wins this phase will get a ticket to the 2021 Copa Sudamericana.
The teams that classified third and fourth are: Unión, Central Córdoba, Rosario Central, Newell’s, Vélez, Racing, Defensa y Justicia, Godoy Cruz, Lanús, Estudiantes and Patronato. The last place will be occupied by Argentinos Juniors or Aldosivi.
At the end of the draw, the fixture of the five dates to be played in each group will be published, and then the days and times of each match will be scheduled
