Sahuayo, Michoacán.- Five dead and at least twenty people injured left as balance the overturning of a tourist bus registered on the Cojumatlán-Sahuayo road in this municipality, according to the information obtained by this news agency in journalistic work. The situation sparked a strong mobilization of rescue corps and police.
The event was the night of this Sunday at kilometer 17 of the aforementioned road, in the vicinity of the cruise that goes to the rancheria of El Goiro. Motorists became aware of the road accident and quickly called emergency phone number 911 to report what happened, so local paramedics and police moved to the area.
The tourist truck ended up overturned off the asphalt tape and severely damaged. Due to the situation five people lost their lives, which are un identified and the guardians of the order did not detail the sex of the victims. There were also 20 injuries and some of them required hospitalization, while others fortunately are not in delicate health, as their injuries were minor, official voices explained to this medium.
Contacts close to the topic mentioned that the bus came from Mazamitla, Jalisco and at one point the driver lost control of the steering wheel, at which point the truck went off the road, fell to a level and overturned with the already known results. Staff of the Attorney General’s Office of the State of Michoacán took over the proceedings of law.
