China.- Three researchers from a laboratory in China that has been examined as the possible point of origin of the coronavirus pandemic went to hospital due to illness in November 2019, according to a new report. The Wall Street Journal, which cited current and former U.S. officials, reported that intelligence compiled by “an international partner” expands a State Department document confirming that wuhan Virology Institute workers became ill with symptoms “consistent with Covid-19 and common seasonal illness” in the fall of 2019.

Officials were divided by the force of intelligence, one told the Journal that it needed more corroboration and another said it was “of exquisite quality” and “very accurate.”
Both agreed that intelligence did not confirm that the researchers had contracted coronavirus.
