Early Saturday morning, a group of armed men forcibly took away Jose Alberto Salas Beltran, secretary of the Organization of the State Steering Committee of the PRI of Sinaloa.
Salas Beltran was intercepted by armed men inside a house in the Colinas del Rey subdivision, which is located on Cerro Morado Street, between Cerro de Las Cumbres and Cerro de La Chihi, in Culiacan.

Police from different corporations were alerted to the illegal deprivation of liberty and went to the site to gather more information about what happened, according to the media Hotline.
Relatives of the politician told El Debate that a group of men subjected Jose Alberto with violence to get him into a private vehicle with an unknown direction.
So far, the state prosecutor’s office has not provided further information on the facts.
The party reported that it will give a press conference shortly.
