translated from Spanish: In which states did the Green Green Green Party get the most votes?

The results of the June 6 election place the Green Ecologist Party (PVEM) in a position in which, with its votes, it could tip the balance on whether or not Morena achieves an absolute majority in the next legislature of the Chamber of Deputies.
Since past six years this political force – recently criticized for actions such as the promotion of the vote in its favor through influencers during the electoral ban – has folded to the party in power to keep the record, and go occupying public positions.
He did so with the PAN during Vicente Fox’s six-year term, and with the PRI during the administration of Enrique Peña Nieto. And now with the alliance with Morena and the Labor Party, with whose impulse to make coalition in certain areas, and in others independently, it will have between 40 and 48 deputies in the next legislature, according to the INE’s estimate.

It would be one of the highest numbers of legislators for this party, in a legislature, which leads to various questions, such as that of which zones, states or districts are the ones that give the most votes to this political force, to make it an important factor in the decisions made in Congress.
According to PREP data, with a 97% advance in the minutes counted, the PVEM obtained a vote in its favor of 5.4% at the national level. That places it in fifth place, below Movimiento Ciudadano (6.9%), PRI (17.7%), PAN (18.3%) and Morena (34%).

As a party, of the 2 million 569 thousand 370 votes that it registered at the national level in this federal election, the majority obtained them in the third constituency, 30.9 %. This constituency covers the states of Campeche, Chiapas, Oaxaca, Quintana Roo, Tabasco, Veracruz and Yucatán.
are entities of the Mexican southeast, among them Chiapas, where the Green already had the command of the state government, with the now senator Manuel Velasco, and where it will be the party that obtained more mayoralties in the election of June 6, with 33, according to the PREP.
In second place in the Green’s vote record by party was the second constituency, with 23%. It includes the states of Aguascalientes, Coahuila, Guanajuato, Nuevo León, Querétaro, San Luis Potosí, Tamaulipas and Zacatecas.
If analyzed state by state, where he got his highest counts of votes are: Chiapas (413 thousand 192), the State of Mexico (330 thousand 801 votes), San Luis Potosi (294 thousand), Veracruz (204,462), Puebla (142,424) and Mexico City (120,216).
Only in San Luis Potosí the Green Ecologist was placed in first place, as the party that obtained more votes compared to other political groupings, even above Morena. What speaks of the strength he obtained in that entity, where he nominated Ricardo Gallardo as a candidate, in alliance with the PT and without going hand in hand with the Morenistas.
Gallardo has been singled out in various media reports and by opponents of his candidacy for alleged ties to criminal groups, although he has denied such allegations. The PREP count, with 81% of the minutes counted on the afternoon of June 7, showed him in first place of the vote, with 36% of the votes in his favor.
He would be the only candidate for governor of the Green party to achieve victory, without going in alliance with Morena. In San Luis Potosi, the Green and pt also obtained 16 mayoralties, the alliance with the most victories of municipalities in that entity.
When reviewing the district count for the Chamber of Deputies, in the PVEM coalition, PT and Morena will win in 119 (their coalition formula was for 183 formulas, establishing that 50 of them would be from the Green bloc, if they obtained the victory).
If an analysis is made of their results in coalition, where Morena, PVEM and PT obtained more districts is in the third district, where Chiapas and Veracruz are, with 34 in their favor. In the first, they won 9 out of 13 districts, and in the second 12 out of 20.
On its own, there is only one district in which the Green Ecologist is listed as the winner. It is the one of Soledad Graciano Sánchez, in San Luis Potosí, where the Green candidate, Juan Manuel Navarro Muñiz, obtained almost 67 thousand votes.
Again, a sign of the strength that PVEM accumulated in that state, where in five other districts it also won, although in alliance with Morena and PT; meanwhile PRI-PAN-PRD barely added a district to their tally.
