The Ministry of Health recorded 225 more deaths from COVID-19, bringing the total to 229,353 recognized deaths from the disease.
They also recorded 3,855 recent cases, so at least 2 million 245,538 people have become ill with the virus since the beginning of the epidemic.
However, it is estimated that 22,711 (0.8%) are active cases of COVID, showing symptoms in recent days.
In a daily press conference, authorities said the trend of suspected cases increased 0.4%, between the 20th and 21nd weeks of the year.
28% of the population, vaccinated against COVID
So far, 36 million 164 thousand 11 vaccines against COVID have been applied, of which, 14 million 639 thousand 188 correspond to complete schemes.
The vaccines correspond to 25 million 360 thousand 211 people who have received at least one dose, 28% of the adult population in Mexico.
This June 9, 345 thousand 52 doses were applied.
