Salvador Escalante, Mich. – The Attorney General’s Office of the State of Michoacán (FGE) obtained a link to proceedings against a male person, for his possible involvement in the crime of Femicide, committed on July 3 in a town in the municipality of Salvador Escalante.
Last week, Raymundo R., was arrested by personnel of the Specialized Unit for the Investigation of Intentional Homicide and Femicide, in compliance with an arrest warrant, as there is evidence of his possible relationship in the death of Estefany M.
In connection with this incident, on that day, at a home located in the town of Ixtaro, belonging to the aforementioned municipality, Raymundo R., allegedly attacked the aggrieved person with a sharp object, causing her injuries that caused her death.
Faced with this situation, the FGE undertook the respective investigative acts, which made it possible to gather evidence of the possible relationship of the accused in the crime, from whom it requested an arrest warrant that was completed last week.

At the hearing, the court found conclusive evidence of his possible participation in the crime, so it decided to link him to the trial, set an informal pretrial detention and set a deadline of four months for the conclusion of the supplementary investigation.
