United States. – The latest wave of Coivd-19 in the United States, due to the Delta variant, has aroused frustration among vaccinated people, who blame those who have not been vaccinated for prolonging the pandemic and scuppering the possibility of a summer free of health restrictions.
Doctors, who thought that covid-19 hospitalizations were going to be a thing of the past, express different opinions. In Alabama, a hard-hit state, Dr. Brytney Cobia wrote a message that went viral on Facebook saying that, of all her patients, only one was vaccinated.
Matthew Heinz, a Tucson doctor, said that although cases at his hospital were well below last year’s peak, “people seem to think the pandemic is over and it’s not,” and that he continues to see a steady stream of young patients.

But, there are also some signs of change among conservatives. Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey lashed out at those resisting the Covid vaccine for lacking “common sense” and “letting down” the population.
