The Panthers, as the Argentine Volleyball Team is known, debuts this Thursday against Brazil in the South American Championship that will take place in Barrancabermeja, Colombia and will grant two places for the 2022 World Cup.The match will begin at 7:30 p.m. and will be televised by DirecTV Sports, like the rest of the matches.
After facing the Brazilian team, the national team will face Peru, Colombia and Chile consecutively in a single round of all against all that will define the champion. The South American will give a ticket to the champion and another to the runner-up for the 2022 World Championship to be held in the Netherlands and Poland. Then, the rest of the teams will have to wait for the completion of the continental tournaments to see if they keep one of the remaining 11 qualifying tickets according to the world rankings. The 14 chosen by Hernán Ferraro for the tournament are: the owners Victoria Mayer and Sabrina Germanier; opposite Erika Mercado and Bianca Cugno; the power plants Emilce Sosa, Bianca Farriol, Brenda Graff and Julieta Holzmaisters; the tips Candela Salinas, Brenda Churín, Mariángeles Cossar and Daniela Bulaich, and the liberos Tatiana Rizzo and Agostina Pelozo.Los partidos de Las Panteras
