The long hours without service on Facebook Inc’s social networks began to work little by little, as users announce on Twitter that they receive WhatsApp messages and Instagram is updated. The server failure began to register around noon in Argentina and lasted for more than five hours, in what represented Facebook’s longest crash since 2008. Due to the drop in the service, Facebook Inc shares fell 5% and accumulated a loss of 15% so far this month.

Privacy Affairs said today that the personal data of more than 1.5 billion Facebook users is for sale on a hacker forum. In its report, Privacy Affairs shared screenshots of the forum in question, which shows a message from the alleged seller, who claims to represent a group of ‘web scrapers’ (web scrapers) and have had “more than 18,000 customers” over the course of four years, published the RT en Español portal.
