While carrying out the reconnaissance tasks, the gendarmes found two mounds with 134 packages wrapped in black nylon and packing tape covered by branches and pine leaves. Then, before witnesses, the troops opened the packages and extracted several bricks containing a vegetable substance with a strong smell characteristic of marijuana. Faced with this situation, the personnel transferred the cargo to the Force Unit where they carried out the narcotest tests that yielded a positive result for “cannabis sativa”.
