Motosicarios open fire in tianguis of Celaya; there are 5 injured

Celaya, Guanajuato.- Armed attack in tianguis of Celaya, Guanajuato, leaves five people injured, two women and three men. Those responsible fled on a motorcycle. Moments of terror lived merchants and assistants of the ‘Tianguis de Los Naranjos’ in Celaya, when motosicarios broke into the tranquility of the place and opened fire left and right against several merchants. The report was given around one o’m. in the afternoon to the emergency numbers, reporting on an attack by armed men who manned a motorcycle in the tianguis installed on Arboleda Avenue, corner Salvador Ortega, in the Valle de los Naranjos neighborhood.According to local media, near two stalls where food is sold, two women and three men were located, all with bullets in different parts of their body, so they were taken to a hospital for care. It was learned that the attack could have been caused by two gunmen traveling on a motorcycle, who entered the corridors of the tianguis in pursuit of two more men, sneaking between merchants and buyers. This persecution caused the gunmen to shoot in search of injuring those they were chasing, however, the bullets targeted “collateral victims” and in the end the persecuted managed to flee. However, five merchants did not have the same fate and were hit by bullets.
