Clinic denies alleged clinical record of Boric disseminated in networks and deputy Jackson points against followers of Kast: “José’s group acts the same as Trump’s”

The Imet Clinic denied an alleged clinical record of the presidential candidate of Apruebo Dignidad, Gabriel Boric, which was disseminated today on social networks. The image showed that the deputy for Magallanes was in treatment for drug use.
“The Imet Clinical Medical Directorate absolutely denies this statement because it is a false document that is not consistent with reality, given that the aforementioned man is not and has not been a patient of our health institution,” says a statement from the medical campus.
“Clínica Imet will study and make use of all the legal actions that are pertinent to investigate what happened and find those responsible for disseminating this false information that, if it had been true, could have caused enormous damages, both to the person referred to above, and to our health establishment,” they add.
From the enclosure they explained that “by constitutional and legal mandate”, they have the “obligation to protect the personal and sensitive data of all patients, in relation to actions related to their health care”.
For his part, Boric accused that the false clinical record was disseminated by “anonymous accounts” that followed an “operation”, initiated last night – accuses the candidate for La Moneda – by the standard-bearer of the Republican Party, José Antonio Kast, in the framework of the presidential debate.
“Today anonymous accounts in networks and Whatsapp took the second step of the operation that Kast started last night, spreading a false clinical record that was denied by the institution. Not everything goes to win an election. I ask that we never be like them.

Recall that in yesterday’s presidential debate, Boric questioned Kast for his link to the “Panama Papers”. “Do you know Cecilio Roberto Moreno? He is the notary of Panama who validated your investment of US $ 12 billion in a tax haven,” the deputy told the far-right candidate.
Faced with the question, Kast challenged him to open bank accounts, medical records and take a drug test.
Meanwhile, Deputy Giorgio Jackson (RD) took aim at Kast’s followers. “José’s group acts the same as those of Trump or Bolsonaro, with fake news and far-right demagoguery, but we have bad news for them. Here in Chile it’s not going to work for them,” he snapped on Twitter.
