Mexico starts week with 17% reduction in COVID cases

The Ministry of Health recorded a 17% decrease in COVID cases, between weeks 44 and 45 of the year.
According to the daily technical report, 1,225 recent cases were registered, for a cumulative of 3 million 863 thousand 362 people who have fallen ill with the virus, since the beginning of the epidemic.
However, they estimate that 19,654 (0.5%) are active cases of coronavirus, due to presenting symptoms in recent days.

In addition, the agency confirmed 99 more deaths from COVID, so there are at least 292,471 officially recognized deaths.
As for the progress of vaccination, 185 thousand 842 doses were applied this November 20, for a total of 130 million 975 thousand 650 applied.
The doses correspond to 75 million 862 thousand 107 immunized people, 85% of the adult population in Mexico.
