8 bodies found hanging in Fresnillo, Zacatecas

Eight bodies hanging, on a bridge and in trees, were located on Tuesday in different parts of the municipality of Fresnillo, Zacatecas, reported the State Security Secretariat.
Three of the bodies were suspended on a pedestrian bridge in the community of San José de Lourdes; while three others were found at another point, in the same community, but hung on a tree.

According to preliminary information and subject to the @FiscaliaZac, confirm progress in the collection of evidence, in a vehicular bridge, in the community of San José de Lourdes, the lifeless bodies of three people were located, suspended.

Two more bodies were also found hanging on a property, between the community of San Ignacio and San Gabriel.
The agency reported that work is being done to recover the bodies and transfer them to the Forensic Medical Service for analysis, perform the necropsy and carry out the proceedings to identify the victims.
It points out that police corporations maintain an operational deployment in the municipality of Fresnillo.

In addition to the continued operational actions and ministerial proceedings, for the procedure of the places and collection of evidence that make up the investigation folder followed by the Attorney General’s Office of the State (FGJEZ).

On Thursday, November 18, the bodies of 10 people were located in the municipality of Ciudad Cuauhtémoc, in Zacatecas.
Nine bodies were hanging on a bridge on Federal Highway 45, in the direction of the municipality of Luis Moya, and one more was located on the asphalt belt.
On Friday and after two months with the new government in Zacatecas, Arturo López Bazán left the state Secretariat of Public Security, in the midst of a stage of violence that the entity is going through.
The governor of the state, David Monreal Ávila, took protest to General Adolfo Marín Marín as the new secretary, with the aim of “recovering the tranquility and peace of our state.”
