With this contract, he said, it seeks to solve the public debt that the entity has with the Tax Administration Service (SAT) and banks, as well as manage resources with the greatest transparency.
“He will be advising Nayarit Santiago Nieto, we will have the advice of him, of a group of lawyers, I was raising with him some things that for me is very necessary, reorder public institutions, the management of resources, their transparency and their linkage through intelligence organs that he knows very well,” Said.
On November 8, Santiago Nieto left the ownership of the UIF after it was announced that officials attended his wedding in Guatemala, and that caused the resignation of Paola Lara, secretary of Tourism of the City, for traveling on a private plane.

President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador said Santiago Nieto’s resignation was prompted by possible opposition criticism of his wedding.
He clarified that Nieto is not an official with a bad background, but that he is a critical person, but it was the circumstances that led him to leave his post.
