Violated sanitary regulations: Teresa Marinovic will be taken to the Ethics Committee of the Convention for not wearing a mask

The conventional and member of the Covid Committee, Loreto Vidal, announced that she would take her Convention colleague, Teresa Marinovic, to the Ethics Committee, since on repeated occasions she did not wear the masks in the sessions of the organism.
Vidal assures that it is not a decision “only in a personal capacity, because I know that from her collective they have made efforts so that she adjusts to the measures, but it is difficult when she does not become aware.” He added that “the case of Mrs. Teresa Marinovic is a case that starts from the beginning. I tried in plenary to convey to him the importance of sanitary measures. We had a conversation where we made personal agreements to try to respect those measures.”
However, for the election of the presidency of the new board of directors of the Constitutional Convention, Marinovic voted without a mask. The former member of the People’s List said that “two days ago because of videos and her behaviors, I approached her again to talk to her.”
“I in particular have to take action, because I was also part of the ethics committee (…) therefore that is already underway and will not be a novelty,” he said.
The lawyer affirms that as conventional it is her duty to denounce before the ethics committee, “the committee is the body that is responsible for issuing a resolution and we will particularly request that it reach the health authority.”
On the other hand, after Marinovic appeared without a mask to the vote, the Minister of Health, Enrique Paris, pronounced himself for the situation in the balance of the pandemic on Thursday, assuring that “it does not seem right to us that a conventional one does not wear a mask, that it does not respect the sanitary measures” and warned that “if from the Convention there is a complaint, obviously the health authority is obliged to do an investigation.”
The defendant defended herself via Twitter, pointing out that “more than an Ethics Commission, it is a political commissary to restrict freedom of thought and expression.”
