Hassler responds to Felipe Kast for wave of violence: “The government headed by President Piñera failed”

A recurring theme these days has been the increase in violent crimes, particularly shootings and murders, so far in the period that began after the “quasi” return to normality, post-quarantines, due to covid-19. In the tweet he said: “Violence unleashed and no one is surprised.” A series of reactions took place after the message, placing his name as a Trending Topic on the social network, but among them stands out that of the mayor of Santiago, Irací Hassler, who pointed to the current Government of Sebastián Piñera, of which Senator Kast is a supporter, as responsible for public security and therefore for the current shortcomings in this topic. On her Twitter account, Mayor Hassler said that “The diagnosis is shared: the government headed by PDTE Piñera failed in the management of public security.” And he added that “We must recover our neighborhoods and for this generate an articulated work from the Ministry of the Interior. All the willingness to collaborate from the municipalities”.
