Renovator Front deputy Cecilia Moreau also resigned from the position she held in the Frente de Todos bloc in the Chamber of Deputies, where she served as vice president behind Máximo Kirchner. On Tuesday, a day after the son of the vice president made his resignation public and minutes before Alberto Fernández defines the successor, Moreau decided to make his resignation available.

“I reaffirm my militant commitment to continue working for the unity of the popular camp that allows us to continue providing society with an alternative to the model that preceded us in management,” wrote the leader of Sergio Massa’s kidney.Moreau worked side by side with Kirchner during the two years he served as the highest authority of the bloc. 

After making public her resignation, which must be accepted by her fellow bloc members, the deputy thanked “each and every one of my colleagues in the bloc, Maximo and @SergioMassa always, for the trust placed.” Although it has not yet been made official, President Alberto Fernández will choose Germán Martínez, deputy for Santa Fe and the kidney of Agustín Rossi, as Kirchner’s replacement.
