They arrested the “Paisa”: he would be the owner of the adulterated drug

The Buenos Aires police arrested eight people during a series of raids carried out in the western part of the province of Buenos Aires, within the framework of the cause that investigates the death of at least 20 people due to the consumption of adulterated cocaine. One of those arrested is Joaquin Aquino, alias “El Paisa.” A request for his arrest had been under investigation since December, but he fell only this morning, after the case broke out for which there are still dozens of internees, some of them in serious condition. In the raids, they also arrested six other people and kidnapped weapons and more than 12,000 doses of cocaine with a translucent wrapper, similar to the one seized in the area where the suspected drug was marketed. Aquino was born in Paraguay in August 1988 and was arrested yesterday afternoon at an address located in José C. Paz. He had been released from prison in June 2020, after being imprisoned for drug trafficking. The links of “El Paisa”
According to judicial sources reported to the Telam agency, “El Paisa” is part of a criminal organization led by Max Ali Alegre Luna, alias “Alicho, who is being held in the federal prison of Villa Devoto in another drug trafficking case. Alicho” is considered one of the drug lords of the San Martín area along with Miguel Ángel “Mameluco” Villalba and Javier Alejandro “El Rengo” Pacheco, explained the sources, who added that “El Paisa” would work for the first and would be in charge of the distribution and commercialization of drugs in the vicinity of the settlement “Puerta 8”, of Loma Hermosa, San Martin, where the adulterated cocaine is believed to have come from.
