President Piñera publicly thanks Minister Paris with a hug for the work in the pandemic: “I want to thank you, because you have been a small giant”

This Monday the last covid-19 balance of the Government of President Sebastián Piñera was made. At the end of announcing the respective figures, the president himself, who was present, took the floor and thanked the team of the Ministry of Health (Minsal) that has been providing its services in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic.
It should be noted that the figures provided by the Minsal were 13,820 new infections and 149 deaths in the last 24 hours. In addition, they indicated that 71 communes in Chile will advance in phase in the “Step by Step Plan”.

After communicating the numbers of the pandemic, President Piñera thanked the Minsal.
“I want to thank very sincerely a team of men and women who gave everything so that you could be better protected during this pandemic. I want to thank you Doctor Paris (they get up and hug), it has been a small giant,” said the president.
