The South American Rally returns to Cordoba

The Rally Argentina will be run again in April in the province of Córdoba, after two years of absence, and this time it will be valid for the second date of the FIA Codasur Championship and for the third date of the Rally Argentino.La competition, which will be held between April 22 and 24, will have its epicenter in Mina Clavero with an itinerary that will have a route of 147.6 kilometers of speed specials, divided into 11 segments. The action will begin on Friday 22 with the Shakedown and the Super Special Mina Clavero, of 1.47km that will be held in the center of the city. On Saturday the Rally will continue with the sections Ambul-Mussi (PE2/5 – 25.99km), El Mirador-Panaholma (PE3/6 – 12.28km) and Panaholma-San Lorenzo (PE 4/7 – 6.51km). These sections will have two passes: one in the morning and one after noon. On Sunday, the race will culminate with the Special Tests Ciénaga de Allende-Mina Clavero (PE 8/10 – 8.96km) and Giulio Cesare-Mina Clavero (PE 9/11 19.33km). The 2022 season of the South American competition is completed with the following dates: the Trans-Itapúa Rally (Paraguay, March 25-27), the Erechim Rally (Brazil, May 20-22), the Huancayo Rally (Peru, July 22-24), the Santa Cruz Rally (Bolivia, August 26-28) and the Atlantic Rally (Uruguay, November 25-27). As it transpired, the organizers of Rally Argentina are in negotiations to recover the date of the World Rally, which this year will not have competitions in America, and that could return to travel the roads of Cordoba in 2023.
