According to information provided to DEBATE by his son, Ambassador Enrique Hubbard Urrea, Don Carlos was a good friend from a young age of the singer Lola Beltrán, who died in 1996 at the age of 62, and he was the one who promoted her in her artistic beginnings, since he would help her to position herself as a secretary in the radio station XEW, Together they went through life sharing their respective achievements, and the same would happen with the immortal Pedro Infante, who died in 1957 at the age of 39 and who in his youth would have insisted to Don Carlos to teach him to press the guitar well, given his knowledge in music, and agreed; that would be one of the memories that Don Carlos always carried regarding Pedro.
