Operation Income 2022 began this April 1: Deadlines, taxes on second withdrawal and payment of Solidarity Loan 2020

From this Friday, April 1, Operation Income 2022 begins, where it is projected that more than 4 million taxpayers will declare the tax, of which 1 million corresponds to companies. This instance means that the Internal Revenue Service (SII), presents a proposal that must be reviewed by the taxpayer, and then be sent with the modifications, if necessary. As reported by the SII must declare income this 2022, all people who earned an annual income greater than $ 8,996,994 or about $ 750,000 per month during the past year, except that it corresponds to salaries of a single employer or payer. Likewise, those who had more than one employer or payer in 2021, the workers at fees, and also the people who made the second voluntary withdrawal of 10% of the AFP. In the same way, people who wish to access a benefit or tax credit can make the declaration.
The stipulated deadlines correspond: between April 1 to May 10 will be the filing period for online declarations that do not involve payment. From April 8 and May 2, tax returns that do involve payment can be filed.
In the case of declaring and obtaining the early refund of surplus Income Tax, its term extends from April 1 to 21. Its corresponding refund would be from May 12, for those who request electronic transfer. Those who do so between April 22 and 29, will get their payment on May 19 of this year. And the last period to do this procedure will be between April 30 and May 10, whose return will be on May 26.
People who request this payment by check and not deposit, must wait until May 30 for the return.
For Operation Income 2022, the SII reported that “about 500,000 workers at fees must pay their social security contributions from their return.” This allows them to access disability and survivorship insurance; coverage against accidents at work and occupational diseases; the right to care for children under the SANNA Act, health benefits, medical leave and associated allowances, the right to family allowances and the right to pensions.
In this aspect, they will obtain the option of doing so on 100% of the taxable base of contributions, which will grant total pension coverage, or on 37%, to access a partial coverage, this according to the Social Protection Law, which contemplates a graduality in this payment.
In turn, as established by law, those who made the second withdrawal of pensions from the AFP during the year 2021, correspond to incorporate this amount drawn as income within the base of the Complementary Global Tax, if their income exceeds $ 19,501,560.
Finally, 1,308,152 people who requested the 2020 Solidarity Loan must pay the first installment in this Operation Rent, which corresponds to 10% of the amount requested and that cannot be greater than 5% of the annual income obtained in 2021 and that are declared in this process.
