CJNG operator linked to murder of Aristotle Sandoval dies

Saúl Alejandro “N”, a man identified as a lieutenant of the Jalisco Cartel New Generation (CJNG) and linked to the murder of former Jalisco governor Aristóteles Sandoval, died after a confrontation with federal forces that occurred this Friday in Puerto Vallarta.
The Ministry of National Defense (Sedena) and the National Guard (GN) reported on Saturday that Saúl Alejandro “N”, also known as ‘Chopa’, fired yesterday from a private vehicle against elements of the GN who were doing intelligence work.
According to both federal institutions, the uniformed repelled the aggression and injured the man, who was detained and taken to a hospital in Puerto Vallarta. That’s where he was identified and notified to the ministerial authorities to make him available. However, he died at the medical center.

Along with Saúl Alejandro “N” another man was arrested, who was transferred in an Air Force helicopter before judicial instances. He was taken to the facilities of the Attorney General’s Office (FGR) in Guadalajara.
