A few weeks ago, President Andrés Manuel López Obrador explained that a batch of vaccines from the Covax mechanism had been paid in advance to immunize minors once the booster doses for adults and young people had been completed.
“It is for all children who must be vaccinated, that it is authorized by the WHO with the corresponding vaccine, it would also be universal for everyone,” he said in a morning conference.

How do I register?
The first thing the portal asks for is to enter the Unique Population Registration Code (CURP) of the minor who is going to be vaccinated, what follows is to select the option to confirm it and continue with the process.
Then, it is recommended to have the following data at hand and in consideration:

Entity.
Municipality.
Postal Code (optional).
Two contact telephone numbers (10 digits)
And two contact emails.

The My Vaccine page will request the above information in the same order.
Finally, it is enough that the registration is completed by selecting the “Send” option, after which a message of approval of the process will appear, accompanied by the registration sheet.
COVID in Mexico
Mexico is close to the endemic phase due to COVID, said the Undersecretary of Health, Hugo López-Gatell.
He indicated that the country has been three months with a sustained reduction in cases, deaths and hospitalization due to COVID.
“We can identify that Mexico is closing the pandemic cycle and transiting to the endemic state,” he said.
He explained that, in terms of mortality from coronavirus, this has been substantially reduced, registering between 4 and 8 deaths per day in the country due to the disease.
While in hospitalizations only 3% of general beds are occupied, 1% those used for intensive care and some entities have not presented admissions to the hospital.

The use of masks is no longer essential: Gatell
Undersecretary López-Gatell pointed out that the use of masks is no longer “essential” as a sanitary measure against the disease; In addition, the epidemiological risk traffic light for COVID will no longer be issued as of May 1.
“It can be useful to use it in closed places, of course, whoever has it will have less possibility of transmitting it. In enclosed spaces at the moment it is the last element where you need to use it; in open space we said it is even less necessary to use it,” he said.
Meanwhile, President Andrés Manuel López Obrador reported that the pandemic is receding, so a new stage in terms of health care in the country begins.
