The Navy detains the “Señorón” in Mazatlan

Elements of the Secretariat of the Navy, in conjunction with authorities in Mazatlan, arrested Francisco Javier Rodríguez, alias “Señorón,” who is identified as the head of the “Los Colombianos” plaza, a criminal group linked to the Jalisco New Generation Cartel.

“El Señorón” was one of the priority objectives of the Morelos government because they considered it one of the main generators of violence in the state.
Through a statement, the authorities of Morelos reported that in the entity there are several investigation folders related to the crimes of qualified homicide; among them, the one committed against three doctors on April 10, 2020 in the town of Tilzapotla, municipality of Puente de Ixtla.
The “Señorón” is accused of the crime of criminal association; for his capture, the authorities offered a reward of 500 thousand pesos.
