“Avatar: The Way of Water” finally revealed its shocking first trailer

In 2009, “Avatar” hit theaters. A film that not only guaranteed a new story of the mind of the Oscar-winning filmmaker (for “Titanic”), but also a truly imposing visual spectacle. And now, your universe expands. We are talking about James Cameron, who after achieving that first and novel film became the highest grossing in the history of cinema, arrives twelve years later presenting his second part.

“Avatar: The Sense of Water” finally revealed its shocking first trailer

“Avatar: The Way of Water” had its fans on tenterhooks: the first images were scarce and little was known, so the expectation was high. Expectation that reaches another dimension now, with the presentation of the first official teaser-trailer. Rather than anticipating based on scenes and dialogues of what this second part will go, it focuses rather on unfolding the scenic level that will highlight not only this sequel but the universe that Cameron intends to capture even in a fifth film (which will arrive staggered until the last one that plans to be released in 2028).

“There’s something I know, wherever we go this family is our forte,” we hear Sam Worthington say as Jake Sully. In this new story, Jake and Neytiri (Zoe Saldaña) form their own family with their children Na’vi: Neteyam (Jamie Flatters), Lo’ak (Britain Dalton), Tuktirey (Trinity Bliss) and Spider (Jack Champion), a human boy whose real name is Miles Socorro, who was born at the military base at Pandora, but was too young to return to Earth; so he will join the clan.

With the participation of the Oscar winner (for “The Reader”), Kate Winslet, who as in “Titanic” returns to work with Cameron, “Avatar: The Way of Water” arrives in theaters on December 16.
