The ministry said that the entire Metropolitan region and 43 other communes will go back to the Yellow phase of Medium Health Impact, which will begin to take effect from this Thursday at 5:00 am.
According to the Minsal website, this stage “considers a scenario of less intense pressure on the healthcare network, viral circulation and prevalence of serious illness and deaths, as well as hospital occupancy factors and respiratory consultations.”
But in other words, what can be done in Yellow Phase (MIS)?
According to the authorities, the use of a mask will always be mandatory in closed spaces, and in any open space where a physical distance of more than 1 meter cannot be maintained.
The mobility pass will be required compulsorily and in enclosed spaces people must maintain a distance of at least 1 meter. The massive events will have a maximum capacity of up to 10 thousand people, with a mask and mobility pass, provided that the space of the enclosure allows the space stipulated between the attendees.
For his part, the Undersecretary of Healthcare Networks, Fernando Araos called that “we must continue to take care of ourselves, that is, respect for the use of masks in closed places or with crowds, constant ventilation of indoor spaces, frequent hand washing and, of course, vaccination,” he stressed.
