Woke up the child transplanted liver in Rosario

An 8-year-old boy received a liver transplant after being hospitalized for a week for acute hepatitis at the Children’s Sanatorium in Rosario. From NA reported that the child woke up in the last hours and asked to see his mother. The boy surnamed Álvarez had entered the emergency list to receive the transplant because of his delicate situation and a family from La Pampa was able to help him in time. Last Tuesday the operation was carried out, which lasted almost eight hours.
The parents were with him as long as they could. In turn, the child once he woke up was able to stop using mechanical respiratory support. For their part, the doctors announced that it evolves according to the expected parameters and that if everything remains the same in ten days it could return home. At the same time, her mother commented “I am super happy with the doctors, super grateful because they saved my baby’s life. It was a very complicated situation, but thank God it’s okay now. The moment I found out I wanted to die, I was shattered.” In turn, he added “I gave him a kiss and told him that I had sent him greetings from all over the world. He did nothing but look at me. He doesn’t want me to leave his side for a minute and neither do I, all I need is to be close to him.”
