The most criticized or the worst president?

Again “the donkey to the wheat”. Again the Mexican president complains that his is the most criticized government, inside and outside our country. Again he whines in his “morning” and “throws himself on the floor”, in one more of the montages of misunderstood victim. But also again he gives us a full-body portrait of his dictatorial drive; image that shows him as intolerant not only to criticism, but to the hard data of a reality that confirm him as the worst president in history. But first I invite you to answer the following questions:1.- How many citizens “repentant of voting” for López Obrador do you know? Possibly there are many.2.- How many Mexicans “regretful of not voting” for López Obrador do you know? Surely you do not know a single one.3.- Can you list “a success” or “a single promise fulfilled” by the government of President López Obrador? Surely it will be difficult for them to find a single success. It was important to start with this trio of questions because behind the triggers of criticism and / or applause to all government management, are the failure or success in the exercise of power. What social scientists know as “management efficiency”. In other words , and from the genesis of Newton’s Third Law – to every success of government corresponds a citizen applause, while to every failure, mistake or presidential lie corresponds a criticism and even social repudiation of the president. That is to say, that López has earned criticism and even social repudiation, as a result of his bad government, his lies, his criminal alliance and his beating against democracy. And that is also why we return to the initial questionsWhy “there are many who regret voting” for López Obrador? Everyone knows the answer: because there are many who are disappointed by the deplorable performance of the Mexican president; even for most of them Lopez’s is the worst government in history. Why “is there not a single Mexican who regrets not voting” for López Obrador? Because every day the facts prove and even shout that it was a mistake, a mistake and even a suicide the vote for AMLO, the current president. And while the facts shout throughout the country all the presidential dislates, it is also true that not all citizens want to hear such cries of reality. Many are blind and deaf of their own free will. But such is the failure of the so-called Fourth Transformation that it is almost impossible to find a success of the AMLO government. In short, if Obrador’s is the most questioned government, there is no doubt that this criticism is the product of the least efficient, most disastrous, most corrupt and most lying management. But that’s only part of the equation. The president says that despite the fact that his is the most criticized government, “there is no repression.” Does López believe that criticism is a funny concession of his dictatorship and that constituents should kneel to give thanks because he does not repress critics and opponents? Again we go in parts. First, López Obrador forgets, ignores or flatly tries to deceive citizens when he omits that criticism – the same that the brilliant opponent López exercised to the fullest –, is “the jewel in the crown” in any democracy that is respected. That is, criticism and critics are not only essential in any democratic government management, but criticism and critics are part of the exercise of power. And it is that if in a representative democracy –like the Mexican one–, the citizens are the constituents -those who give the mandate to the president–, and if López Obrador is the president, then the critics are citizens specialized in observing and pressing the exercise of government and are obliged to compare its effectiveness or ineffectiveness in favor of society as a whole. But it is only up to citizens – yes and only yes –, trust critics or not; select those who best perform the criticism; trust those who have no interest other than to provide the citizen with the hard data on the success and / or failure of this or that government. Second, López also forgets that repression of criticism is called “censorship” and that official repression is official censorship. But López also hides that his government is one of the most censored and that it continues to censor critics and critics. Yes, the president can make all the montages he wants to victimize himself, but the truth is that from the Palace López himself orders to censor most of the media and critical journalists. And the evidence of such censorship is plain to see. That is why it is only possible to count on the fingers of one hand the so-called national media that are independent and critical: the newspapers El Universal and Reforma… besides a handful of digital spaces. And third, the president omits that all serious organizations that defend human rights and journalistic work – in addition to the UN –, consider Mexico as the most dangerous country for the performance of journalism and criticism. And that unhonorable first place of violence against media and journalists is a product of the growing criminal violence in AMLO’s administration; a management that – at the extreme of cynicism –, proclaims its alliance with organized crime. Government in which 60 journalists have been reported dead, of which all those allegedly responsible remain unpunished. Yes, official impunity in favor of the “journalist-killers,” which stimulates the most questionable of the extremes of censorship; the silence of the critics through bullets. The truth, in the end, is that the López Obrador government can continue to stimulate censorship and crime against journalists, but it will not be able to silence a hundred million voices that sooner or later will take it to trial. At the same time.
