If they keep excluding me, I have nothing to do: Monreal to Morena

Senator Ricardo Monreal warned that the limit of his stay in Morena is dignity and that, if they continue to exclude him, he has nothing to do in the party.
He said he hopes that the leadership, which is in charge of Mario Delgado, will correct and in the future will not exclude him from participation, despite the fact that he is not mentioned in the “club of the elected” since the morning conferences.
“So far it means I’m going to fight to win inside. So far there has been no other element that forces me to leave, and I have said that the limit of my stay in Morena is dignity. If it continues to be excluded, I have nothing to do,” he said on tour of Guanajuato.

The also president of the Political Coordination Board (Jucopo) asked that there be an even floor among the presidential aspirants of Morena.

In recent days, President Andrés Manuel López Obrador asked “that no one be limited” among the people who aspire to the presidential candidacy of his party, Morena, towards the 2024 elections.

The call was made a day after the party held a meeting with leaders and militants in Toluca, State of Mexico, where several of its presidents coincided, but to which Senator Ricardo Monreal was not invited.
I’m not corcholata: Monreal
Senator Ricardo Monreal assured that he is not a corcholata, but a natural and modest presidential candidate.
He warned that the nickname “cork” is pejorative and that no one should accept it.
“I’m not ‘corcholata’. I refuse to accept that nickname. I am simply a modest candidate for the Presidency of the Republic,” he said.
On several occasions, President Andrés Manuel López Obrador has listed at least six members of his government who could replace him in office, among them: Marcelo Ebrard, Juan Ramón de la Fuente, Esteban Moctezuma, Tatiana Clouthier, Rocío Nahle and Claudia Sheinbaum. It has not included Ricardo Monreal.
