CHV Noticias cameraman suffers theft of his cell phone in the middle of a live office

During this afternoon a “motochorro” stole from a team of CHV Noticias when they were making live dispatch for the noon newscast. It was the station’s own journalist, Joale Aristimuño, who reported the incident.
The incident occurred when the professional was delivering a news about the dollar in our country, at which time a motorcyclist with a delivery backpack stole the cell phone from the cameraman of the television signal on the outskirts of the Onemi.
When the event occurred, the driver of the space, Humberto Sichel, interrupted the journalist’s report to consult him about the situation.
“Our cameraman has just had his cell phone stolen, a delivery man, at least that’s what his backpack said, this happened a few seconds ago. We are fine, but the phone was stolen, we are outside ONEMI,” Aristimuño said.
In addition, he added that “there was a motorcycle stopped here, I saw it, and it approached very violently to where we were. We are not exempt from the situation in the country, we were live for Chilevisión Noticias,” he added.
To which Sichel pointed out that “it was a jet ski then.”

The reporter himself said on Twitter that “my cameraman and I are fine. We were doing an office for @CHVNoticias noon. Live. And a motorized man with Rappi’s backpack ripped off my cameraman’s phone. All this outside ONEMI, steps from O Higgins Park.”

My cameraman and I are fine.

We were doing an office for @CHVNoticias noon. Live. And a motorized man with Rappi’s backpack ripped off my cameraman’s phone.
All this outside the onemi, steps from the O Higgins park.
