They present “Who’s Who” in higher salaries than the president

Ricardo Sheffield, head of the Federal Consumer Prosecutor’s Office (Profeco), presented a list of the servers who receive a higher monthly salary than the president, Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
After Lopez Obrador’s request to present a “Who’s Who” in salaries, Sheffield said that people who earn more than the president took refuge from not complying with the law.
“Although our Constitution states that no one should win than the President, we find in public sources that this decree is not respected,” Sheffield said.
During the presentation, the prosecutor pointed out that the Federal Law on Remuneration of Public Servants establishes that “remuneration for the performance of their function greater than that established for the President in the Budget of Expenditures of the Federation cannot be received.”
