Alberto Fernández received the Governors, who complained about the economic crisis

President Alberto Fernández met in the Eva Perón Hall of the Casa Rosada with pro-government provincial governors, who had previously attended the Federal Investment Council (CFI) where they held a previous meeting in which they discussed an agenda of their own issues and the economic and political situation of the country. Until the last moment it was not known who was going to attend, but after 3 p.m. the governors began to arrive. 13 presidents were present, as they expected in the Casa Rosada. Present were the governor of Buenos Aires, Axel Kicillof; from Catamarca, Raúl Jalil; from Chaco, Jorge Capitanich; from Chubut, Mariano Arcioni; from Entre Ríos, Gustavo Bordet; from Formosa, Gildo Insfrán; from La Pampa, Sergio Ziliotto; of San Juan, Sergio Uñac; from Santa Cruz, Alicia Kirchner; from Santa Fe, Omar Perotti; from Santiago del Estero, Gerardo Zamora; from Tierra del Fuego, Gustavo Melella and from Tucumán, Osvaldo Jaldo. The only one missing was the one from San Luis, Alberto Rodríguez Saá.

So far, it has emerged that the provincial leaders demanded measures to alleviate the strong effect that the run on the dollar caused in local economies. The President pledged to respond with concrete announcements, they said. After 5 p.m., almost all the leaders of the Government House withdrew. Only Jorge Capitanich remained, who was meeting for about an hour with Alberto Fernández.
