Three planes burned: Mapuche Resistance Malleco claimed incendiary attack in Curacautín Air Club

Around 4 in the morning, a group of strangers entered the Curacautín Air Club, located in the commune of the same name, in the region of La Araucanía, where they carried out an arson attack which affected three small planes that ended up consumed by the flames. 
The Mapuche Resistance group Malleco claimed responsibility for the attack, leaving a message that read: “Freedom to Mapuche prisoners on hunger strike. Wallmapu is moving towards national liberation.”

The commissioner of the fifth Police Station of Curacautín, Major Fernando Mella, told La Tercera that “it was established that unknown individuals, hooded, arrived at the place and through accelerating elements set fire to three aircraft.”
Firefighters and specialized teams arrived at the scene to fight the fire, while Carabineros are carrying out the respective diligences to find those responsible for the attack.
It should be remembered that during the early morning there was also an arson attack, but on that occasion it occurred in the town of Pillanlelbún, commune of Lautaro, affecting the Casona Santa Inés.
