Tartagal: Three men arrested on suspicion of murder

Three men were arrested as suspects in the murder of a man in a community originally from Tartagal, in the north of Salta, where the victim’s son, 31, was also injured, sources from the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Salta reported today.The incident occurred yesterday at noon in the Sarmiento Community, of Tartagal, which is about 365 kilometers from the city of Salta, in the framework of a family conflict, where a man died after receiving a strong impact with a blunt element in the chest area and his son, 31, was injured. The criminal prosecutor of the Unit of Serious Attacks against the People of Tartagal, Gonzalo Vega, is the one who investigates the event and, after the first investigations, the arrest of three people as suspects was achieved. The spokesmen said that Vega arranged the work of Criminalistics personnel in the place, to perform the tasks of rigor, and of the investigators of the Unit of Serious Attacks against Persons.Meanwhile, the prosecutor ordered that the body of the deceased be transferred to the Forensic Thanatology Service of the Corps of Fiscal Investigators (CIF) of Oran, where the current health protocols have been complied with, the corresponding autopsy will be carried out, which will allow the cause of death to be determined. The spokesmen explained that the control of legality and the hearing of imputation of the accused, will be finalized tomorrow.
