NASA set the launch date of the Artemis rocket

NASA reported that at the end of September it will be possible, for the third time, to launch the Artemis I rocket with the idea of reaching the Moon again in the coming years with crew on board. In this way, the administration indicated that the launch date will be next Friday, September 23 in the morning and if due to any weather issue or technical failure it must be suspended it will pass for Tuesday 27.In the first two occasions the takeoff was canceled due to technical problems at the time of fuel loading. It should be noted that this first phase of the mission does not carry crew members since it will only be investigated how the Space Launch System rocket works in real conditions and in addition to the Orion capsule.Nelson Bill, NASA administrator, spoke at a press conference and said: “Until everything is fine, the launch will not be done.” They also pointed out from the agency that if these dates are also negative for the launch there will be more windows in October. The Artemis I is one of the largest rockets measuring 98 meters in height, that is, a measure similar to a 32-story building. This time it took more than ten years to build and that is why the takeoff of it brings with it many desires. According to NASA estimates, if everything goes as it should on this mission and the following ones, humans will return to the Moon in mid-2025.
