Formula 1: Checo Pérez won the Singapore GP

The Mexican Sergio “Checo” Pérez, driver of Red Bull, took the victory in the Singapore Grand Prix of Formula 1, in a race that was delayed by weather conditions.
The competition was defined by time because the 61 laps of the circuit were not completed and Pérez appropriated the lead after snatching it from the Monegasque Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) at the start. Leclerc placed second, while ferrari teammate Carlos Sainz completed the podium and Max Verstappen (Red Bull) placed seventh, so he will have to wait at least one more week to seal the championship consecration. The Dutchman leads the table with 341 points and the difference with the Monegasque, who was 116 before the Singapore Grand Prix, is now 104 given that the Ferrari driver accumulates 237. It was, without a doubt, my best performance. I had better performance, I controlled the race and the last three laps were very intense. I pushed everything to win. I don’t have much idea what is happening with the investigation,” said “Checo” in reference to a penalty for getting too close to the security car in the last intervention of the same. Leclerc said: “I pushed the whole race, but the bad start put me in a difficult position. I had some roller skating. Physically it was very hard.”
