TCR South America: Fabricio Pezzini became champion of the category

The Argentine Fabricio Pezzini (Lynk) was awarded this morning the title of champion of the South American TCR of motorsport, finishing in fourth place in the first race that took place this weekend at the El Villicum circuit, in San Juan, within the framework of the eighth and last double date of the calendar of the category.
The 43-year-old native of San Luis earned the necessary points to become unattainable for Brazilian Raphael Reis (Cupra), who came second in Sunday’s inaugural test at the San Juan track. Pezzini completed the 13 laps of the demand in a time of 25m. 24s. 351/1000.The winner of the competition was the young Pinamarense Jorge Barrio (Toyota), who dominated with amplitude and won with an accumulated record of 25m. 19s. 156/1000.The second position corresponded to Reis (Cupra), to 1s. 438/1000, while the Mendoza Bernardo Llaver (Cupra) arrived in third place, to 2s. 472/1000.The brand new champion Pezzini finished fourth at 5s. 195/1000, while the Cordoban Juan Angel Rosso (Hyundai), one of the pursuers of the puntano in the contest, climbed to the fifth place (he reached almost 6 seconds), after having started in the last row for a penalty.
