Copa Libertadores: Patricio Loustau will referee the final between Flamengo and Paranaense

The Conmebol Referees Commission announced this afternoon the full list of judges who will be in the final of the Copa Libertadores 2022, which will star the Brazilian teams of Flamengo and Atlético Paranaense, on Saturday, October 29 at the Isidro Romero Carbo stadium in Guayaquil, Ecuador.La shortlist will be composed mostly of Argentines, since Patricio Loustau will be the main referee, Diego Bonfá and Ezequiel Brailovsky will be assistants and Facundo Tello and Facundo Rodríguez will officiate as fourth and fifth judge, respectively.

In addition, in front of the VAR, the Argentine Mauro Vigliano will be in charge, who will be accompanied by the Paraguayans Eber Aquino and José Cuevas and the Colombian Nicolás Gallo. In turn, the Uruguayan Darío Ubriaco will be an international advisor. It is worth mentioning that it will be the second Copa Libertadores final refereed by Loustau, since he was in charge of the definition of 2020, which due to the pandemic was played in 2021, which Palmeiras won 1-0 against Santos at the Maracanã.Finally, it should be noted that this is the third consecutive final of Libertadores by an Argentine judge, since in the 2021 edition, where Palmeiras was proclaimed again, there was Néstor Pitana.
