“Wonder Man”: Yahya Abdul-Mateen II to Star in New Marvel Series

Wonder Man, whose alter ego is that of Simon Williams, first appeared in comics in The Avengers #9 (1964). Created by Stan Lee, Jack Kirby, and Don Heck in its beginnings it was an antagonist, while later it was part of the squad of heroes and heroines.

Even in one of his most popular volumes (The Avengers # 131-132; 1975) he was related to Kang (whom we will see for the first time in “Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania”, played by Jonathan Majors), which already anticipates possible speculation about the crossing of characters by fans. Meanwhile, among the latest series confirmed by Marvel comes “Vision Quest,” which will bring back Paul Bettany’s avenger and quite possibly Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen).
