Fito Paez swept the Latin Grammys 2022: “This is an overdose”

The Latin Grammys 2022 were held in the city of Las Vegas and the Argentine music scene occupied much of the ceremony as several local artists are nominated in the most important categories. This was how in the 23rd Annual Delivery of the Latin music festival, the Rosario Fito Paez nominated for “Best Rock Song – “The Best of Our Lives”, “Best Pop/Rock Album – Los años salvajes”, and “Best Pop/Rock Song – “Babel”, together with Carlos Vives”, took the three statuettes in the celebration that could be seen today.
In his speech of thanks Fito said: “This can be said to be an overdose,” he exclaimed and then thanked the team with whom he worked to carry out the material. At the same time he highlighted: “We in Argentina come from a very high tradition of popular music created in the twentieth century, in a lot of genres, throughout the country and that have crossed time from tango, folklore, Argentine rock and countless genres that cross popular music, “he said.
