Budget 2023: Joint Commission must resolve funds for Segegob

The Chamber of Deputies sent to the Joint Commission the 2023 Budget bill presented by President Gabriel Boric to make decisions on two issues that were pending in the Chamber held on Monday.

The instance will be integrated by the deputies Gastón Von Mühlenbrock (UDI), Jaime Naranjo (PS), Frank Sauerbaum (RN), Boris Barrera (PC) and Gael Yeomans (CS). From the Upper House, it is pending who will be the senators who will make up the Mixed Commission.
Specifically, the issues that remained pending were the resources of the Ministry of the General Secretariat of Government (Segegob) that the Senate cut for goods and consumption and for the Secretariat of Communications, which was not supported by the Lower House.
To this is added the gloss approved in education on students who had been expelled under the Safe Classroom law, to whom an additional sanction was applied that for a year they could not access the benefits of the Higher Education law.
After passing through the aforementioned commission, the project must return to the Chamber of the Lower House and the Senate, in order for the parliamentarians to pronounce on it.
